Class Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made seven days in advance in order to receive a full refund. Refunds are not given for classes canceled less than seven days ahead; however, you can always send a friend in your place.

Gardening with Kids

Kids ages 6-10 will learn how to plant seeds, transplant a seedling, water, and harvest vegetables in this fun, hands-on class.
Instructor Destiny Weaver is the garden teacher at Emerson Elementary in Oakland. She will bring her knowledge about how to best engage kids in the garden through hands-on demonstrations of planting, potting up, transplanting, mulching, harvesting, and even planning a garden. Everyone goes home with seeds or seedlings! Parents can join or just drop their kids off for the hour-long class.
