Handstitching Basics
Come spend a little time learning the basics of handstitching. We’ll start with how to needle your thread! And talk about kinds of needles, kinds of threads, how to know your thread. Then we’ll practice several types of stitches and learn what they’re used for. We’ll practice needle-turned applique and raw edge applique. Lastly we’ll try a bit of reverse applique. Now you’ll be ready to mend your clothes proudly and properly!
If you have sharp snips, bring them. Judith will have everything else for the class.
Class is in-person, in the cozy front room of the Oasis.
